The traditional lace-up closure provides familiar, customizable tension throughout the boot. Vans adds an Instep Lace Lockout and internal web harness to improve support and help keep the heel securely positioned.

Inside, the V1 UltraCush™ Liner features an UltraCush™ cushioning layer with a dual-density heat-moldable core that gradually conforms to the foot. A Comfort Flex neoprene toe box and closed-seam brushed fleece cuff add flexibility and comfort.

The V1 Harness provides lightweight internal support and heel hold, while the Instep Flex Zone helps maintain natural ankle movement when strapped into bindings.

Underfoot, the V1 PopCush™ Footbed uses 3D anatomical shaping for impact protection and support. The V1 Waffle Lug Outsole combines Vans' recognizable waffle-inspired traction pattern with an All-Trac cold-weather rubber compound for dependable grip and responsive boardfeel.

Heat Retention 360° uses 200g insulation over the toes, along with moisture-managing neoprene and EVA materials, to help keep feet warm during colder mountain conditions.
