The Spitfire x April F4 Shane Classic Wheels - 52mm 99D bring together two of Shane O'Neill's longtime sponsors for a signature collaboration built around his preferred Spitfire setup. Shane is the founder of April Skateboards, rides for Spitfire, and has specifically confirmed that Formula Four Classics are his wheel shape and formula of choice.
Made with Spitfire's proven Formula Four urethane, these wheels are rated at 99D and use the Classic shape. Formula Four is engineered for lasting performance with high abrasion resistance, controlled grip and resistance to flat spots, while the Classic profile is Spitfire's original shape with a medium-width riding surface and rounded sidewalls.
At 52mm, this version keeps the setup quick and responsive for technical street skating while providing a little more roll than the smaller wheels Shane traditionally rides. The Spitfire x April graphics tie the wheel directly to Shane O'Neill and April Skateboards, making this a legitimate signature collaboration rather than simply an April-branded colourway. Shane currently lists both April and Spitfire among his sponsors.
