The Oakley MOD1 MIPS Snowboard Helmet - Blackout combines a clean, skate-inspired profile with modern snow-helmet protection and an adjustable performance fit.

Designed with a lightweight, low-profile shape, the MOD1 keeps the classic look of a skate helmet while adding mountain-specific features for snowboarding and skiing.

Integrated MIPS® technology uses a low-friction layer inside the helmet designed to help reduce rotational motion transferred to the head during certain angled impacts.

Oakley’s BOA® 360 Fit System allows precise, micro-adjustable fit tuning around the head, helping create a secure and comfortable feel throughout the day.

Fixed ventilation allows warm air to escape through the top of the helmet, while brim and goggle ventilation helps direct hot air away from the goggles to support anti-fog performance.

A FIDLOCK® magnetic buckle makes the chin strap easy to fasten and release while wearing gloves. The removable liner and ear pads are machine washable and can be taken out for warmer conditions or for riders who prefer wearing their goggle strap underneath the helmet.

The MOD1 MIPS is certified to ASTM F2040 and CE EN1077 snow-sports helmet standards.
